What my own LinkedIn data says
LinkedIn's native analytics are useless.
That's one of the reasons I built Wren. Wren started as a personal project and has grown to something others are getting value out of as well!
One thing Wren does that LinkedIn doesn't: it uses an LLM to classify every post you've written into categories, such as announcements, personal stories, commentary, and more. Then it shows you how each category performs for your specific account.
Below is my own data.
Top performing category by impressions: announcements. Product launches, company news, fundraising. Makes sense.
Close second: personal stories. And it wasn't close after that.
Here's the thing everyone already knows intuitively: post a picture of your family, your dog, or a struggle you overcame and it does well. Everyone knows this. But now I can actually prove it in my own data. 😂
More pictures of Oso, my dog, incoming, I guess.
The broader point: Wren helps you understand what's actually working for *you specifically*, not just what works in general. That's one of many insights LinkedIn will never give you.
